✿~June 25~Olympic Torch Relay~♥

Recalling June 25 in 2012......

2012 is an very important year for UK as the Olympic will be held in London this very year...

There is torch relay going around the whole UK before the game's opening...

As on June 25, the torch will be passing Sheffield...

We are in Sheffield, must not miss the chance to witness the big event!!!

There is huge crowd all over the city centre...

There is temporary stage set up for the torch relay event...as you can see...people mountain people sea... ^^

It is so happening as there are trucks with free coke and other freebies in the city centre with v~e~r~y long queue...

After the torch relay event, we go for photo shooting session... ^^

✿~June 24~Meadowhall~♥

Recalling June 24 in 2012......

Today is the second day since Monkey and Yinsin arrived in UK...

We went to Meadowhall~★ the so far only shopping centre in Sheffield... ^^

And we brought along dumpling for light lunch together, we took the dumpling in the Oasis Dining~★ it is a food court in Meadowhall and the people there were so curious of what we are having... =p

The shopping centre is not very big but there are shops for us to shop for hours...

Most of the shops are actually bigger shops as in city centre...with more variety... ^^

Our must-go-in shops such as Primark, Body Shop, New Look, H&M, SportsDirect, JD, Boots, Superdrug, etc

OMG, i missed shopping in UK so much!!!

I was so overwhelmed when i saw SportsDirect in One Utama as during our stay in UK, I think we visited almost every SportsDirect that we saw in every city... ^^

Public Transportation available to get to Meadowhall~~

The best way is to take bus from Sheffield Bus Station, the one that very near to SHU with student ticket with 60 pence (if not remembered wrongly)...

However, as for return, there is no discount for bus ticket...

After back to Sheffield by train, we decided to go for dinner at restaurant as too tired to cook at home...

We walked to HK Wok~★ on London Road to have dinner, it was a long route... haha... =p

The dishes are nice!!! We were so full as the portion was big!! For 4 girls, we should have ordered 2 is enough... ^^

✿~June 23~Manchester United~Old Trafford Stadium~♥

Recalling June 23 in 2012......

Today is the arrival date for Monkey and Yin Sin...

However, I am going on Tong Hang day trip to Manchester United, specially in
Old Trafford Stadium~★

I have a mission to buy Rooney jersey for an old bestie~ Kuekapek Yik Seng ^^

✿~June 22~Heeley City Farm~♥

Recalling June 22 in 2012......

Today is Friday,  we have little walk away from the normal route that we take everyday...

We are going to Heeley City Farm~★ which situated at
Richards Road,
Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S2 3DT, UK.

This would take around half an hour walking from Charlotte Court...

The route back to Charlotte Court again was exhausting...however, the nice weather in Sheffield just makes me love to walk around everyday...✿

Recalling June 19 in 2012......

I don't really remember which day was the first day we met our beloved PASBD core lecturer, John...

He is a good, strict lecturer (strict at first though), he will make the late comers sing in front of everyone in the lecture theatre... >.<

However, that punishment does not last long, as afterwards we have group presentations every week and what i really like about the presentation is that each group would only present in front of one to two lecturers instead of the whole class...

It is a very good subject as it will train us up in presentation skills and sometimes we have role playing...

We would learn ethical lessons from the lecturers after the role plays...

After attending classes morning to noon, we would normally loiter in city centre as it is just minutes away from uni...

We would walk pass Millenium Gallery and Winter Garden...

Winter Garden~★

Sometimes, there will be performers in Winter Garden, they would play musical instruments and some passer-bys will dance along the play... ^^ it is wonderful to enjoy seeing them dance with the music...

Apart from Winter Garden, there is Peace Garden with beautiful fountain and many people would just sit on the field enjoying the peaceful afternoon with loved ones...

Recalling June 18 in 2012......

En route to uni, I would admire the surroundings and scenery...

The buildings, the road signs, the pathways are all different than what we have in Msia...

I just love the weather there, it is SUMMER and i will not sweat after walking for 20 minutes while enjoying the roadside scenery, unlike in Msia, we are 1 minute in the sun, the sweat will be running down impatiently... >.<
