✿~Aug 23~Duncansby Stacks~John O' Groats~♥

Recalling Aug 23 in 2012......

We are having Scotland Trip 22 - 26 Aug, during our study week... ^^

First destination for today would be Duncansby Stacks~★

En route walking to the top of the hill to have better view of the Duncansby Stacks, there is national flower of Scotland ~ Thistle~✿ along the route... =)

After amazed by the breath-taking view from Duncansby Head, we continue journey to John O' Groats, which located on the tip of Scotland, the place known as the most northerly settlement on the island of Great Britain... =)

After taking memorable and symbolic photo session with the John O' Groats signpost, we are going for a ferry trip... ^^

There is also a special souvenir shop that you could send postcards with unique John O' Groats stamp... =)

After writing the postcards for ourselves and friends, heading to hotel and call it a day for us~

There are always nice view en route around in Scotland...♥


After dinner, never missed to have our favourite fruits as desserts~ =)

Recalling Aug 22 in 2012......

Early in the morning we arrive at the the city of Edinburgh~★


Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland. This is a special city which separate into 2 parts: Old Town and New Town... =)

Specialty in Scotland~ Haggis~★


Haggis is a savoury pudding containing sheep's pluck (heart, liver, lungs), minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices and salt, mixed with stock, simmered for approximately 3 hours...




We tried the Haggis during our lunch at The Royal Mcgregor~★






We spend the night in Inverness~★


We have Thai Cuisine for dinner at George's Thai and South Indian Restaurant~★
